R.I.P. WHITNEY
I grew up dancing to Whitney’s music. The first routines I ever choreographed as a child were to her songs. Like Whitney, I sweat a lot, and had such a complex about it. I loved watching her perform: She sang her heart out and her beautiful dresses were soaked with sweat — she helped me understand that sweat is passion. Sweat is hard work. If you don’t sweat, there’s something wrong with how you’re doing it. Thank you for the music and the courage to sweat and not give a shit what other people think. I love you, Whitney. I will miss you so much. —Love, Zuzu
